Higher Secondary (Arts) 1. Compulsory:
(a) English.
(b) MIL (Assamese) or Alternative
English.

2. Elective : A student must select
any three subjects in addition to his/
her compulsory subjects from the

3. Additional: A student may select
one more subject in addition to his/
her compulsory and elective subjects
selected already as additional subject
from the above mentioned subjects.
 		 English, MIL (Assamese),Alternative English, Advanced Assamese,Arabic, Economics, Political Science, History,
Logic & Philosophy and
Mathematics.

Higher Secondary (Science)

 

 

 

 1. Compulsory:

(a) English.
(b) MIL (Assamese) or Alternative English.

2. Elective : A student shall have to select any three subjects in addition to compulsory subjects as his/ her elective subjects from
the subjects mentioned above.

3. Additional: A student may select one more subject for his additional study in addition to compulsory and elective subjects.
 		 English, MIL (Assamese), Alternative English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology) and Mathematics.

B-1.

 

 

 TDC (Arts) Course (a) GENERAL :

1. Compulsory :
(a) English.
(b) MIL (Assamese) or Alternative English.

2. Elective : A student shall have to select any of two subjects in addition to compulsory subjects from the subjects mentioned
above.

(b) MAJOR :

1. Compulsory :
(a) English.
(b) MIL (Assamese) or Alternative English.

2. Major : A student can offer Major in any one of the subjects mentioned above.

3. Elective : (i) A student offering Major in English shall have to select any one of the subjects stated above in addition to
compulsory subjects.

(ii) A student offering Major in any one of the elective subjects shall have to select another elective subject in addition to
compulsory and Major subjects from the subjects stated above.

(iii) A student offering Major in Assamese shall not be allowed to take Elective Assamese.		 English, MIL(Assamese), Alternative English, Arabic, Elective Assamese, Economics, Education,  History, Philosophy, Political Science and Mathematics.

B-2.

TDC (Science) Course (a) GENERAL :

1. Compulsory :
(a) English.

2. Elective : A student shall have to select any of two subjects from the Elective subjects stated above.

(b) Major :

1. Compulsory :
(a) English.

2. Major : A student can offer Major in any one of the Elective subjects mentioned above.

3. Elective : A student shall have to select any one of the Elective subjects in addition to compulsory and Major subjects.

Note :A student shall be allowed to select a subject for his/her study of Major or Elective subject provided he/she has studied the (concerning) subject in the H.S course.		 1. Compulsory : English.

2. Elective : Physics, Chemistry,
 Mathematics, Botany and Zoology.
